This is an excellent book and one that you might want to share with family or friends who have been diagnosed with skin cancer. The author suggests that the sun is not something to be avoided for fear of cancer. In fact, he says that research has proven that skin cancers occur most frequently in those who seldom spend time outdoors; who are exposed to artificial light during most of their work time; and those who use sunscreen and sunglasses to block out the sun's rays. I found this very interesting because I have 3 siblings. One works in construction and is obviously outside a lot. The other two are office workers. Guess which two got skin cancer. The author also brings diet into the equation, suggesting that Vitamin D is essential; that some polyunsaturated fats up the risk of cancer, and that liver toxicity needs to be addressed. Plus so much more.There is a wealth of information and food for thought here. I found the whole book fascinating. Highly recommend.
